Genshin Impact Bounties
Bounties in Genshin Impact is a special Monster Hunting feature, that can help you increase your reputation with the different in-game regions. Bounties are part of the Reputation System and one of the main ways you can earn reputation points. You can only complete three bounties every Week and they refresh every Monday.
How to Get Bounties in Genshin Impact
You can accept Bounties from the reputation NPC in every major City in the game. To unlock and accept Bounties you must have unlocked the Reputation system first. To achieve this you must reach Adventure Rank 25 and complete the following quests:
- Mondstadt, the Archon Quest: The Outlander who Caught the Wind Prologue Act I
- Liyue, the Archon Quest: Farewell, Archaic Lord Chapter I: Act II
- Inazuma, the Archon Quest “Chapter II: Act I – The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia” and the quest “The Commission’s Commission“
- Sumeru, the Archon Quest “Chapter III: Act II – The Morn a Thousand Roses Brings“
You can accept and complete only three Bounties every Week. This number is shared between tall areas. There are always three available bounties for you to choose in each city. The bounties have different difficulty levels. 3-star, 4-star and 5-star. You can accept only one at a time but you can choose to complete the same difficulty bounty every time.
Each bounty will give you info on the target, like the area where you can find it and its special traits. Bounties’ targets are different than normal enemies. They have specific advantages and weaknesses that you have to exploit in order to defeat them. For example a target can be invulnerable to Cryo and Pyro damage but vulnerable to Electro or Physical damage. The higher the quality of the target the more difficult it will be to defeat it. 5-star bounties can be really tough. To complete bounties successfully you need to setup your group appropriately.
How to Complete Bounties in Genshin Impact
Once you accept a bounty you can travel in the area the target was sighted. It will be marked with a yellow circle on the map. For Mondstadt and Liyue Bounties the target is not be available immediately. You need first to track it down by finding clues with Elemental Sight. There is a time limit of ten minutes to find and defeat the target.
By using Elemental Sight you can see and follow blue tracks that will lead you to the three clues and eventually the target. The clues can be anything, a flower you can collect or a normal enemy you have to defeat. Once you have found all three clues the target will spawn. After defeating it, return back to the reputation NPC to claim your rewards. Inazuma Bounties are slightly different and more straightforward. The target is visible immediately after you enter the area. There is no need to track clues first in order to find it. Defeat the enemy and return to the NPC to receive your reward!
