The Anemo Traveler is the first elemental version of the character in Genshin Impact and the very first character you can play the game with. Thanks to its Elemental Skill and Burst, the Anemo Traveler is a decent option for support roles and more specifically Crowd Control gameplay and triggering Swirl Reactions. Weapon for Anemo Traveler Support Build in Genshin Impact
Our goal with this Support Build is to cast our skills often so we can crowd control enemies and trigger the Swirl Reaction. To achieve this we will boost our Energy Recharge. The Favonius Sword is a great Sword, that boosts Energy Recharge and regenerates Energy. This allows you to cast the Traveler’s Elemental Skill and Burst more often.

The Viridescent Venerer is the Best Set for this Build! A Set that boosts Anemo damage but also increases Swirl reaction’s damage and reduces the opponent’s Elemental Resistance. Noblesse Oblige is a great alternative to further boost your Elemental Burst.

Skills for Anemo Traveler Support Build in Genshin Impact
Traveler’s Normal attack is called Foreign Ironwind and its effects are:
- Normal Attack: Performs up to 5 rapid strikes.
- Charged Attack: Consumes a certain amount of Stamina to unleash 2 rapid sword strikes.
- Plunging Attack: Plunges from mid-air to strike the ground below, damaging opponents along the path and dealing AOE DMG upon impact.
Their Elemental Skill, Palm Vortex, creates a vacuum vortex that deals Anemo AOE damage. The vortex deals extra damage when its duration ends. If it comes into contact with Hydro, Pyro, Electro or Cryo elements it will deal additional elemental damage of that type to enemies(Elemental Absoption effect).
Their Elemental Burst, Gust Surge, summons a forward moving tornado that pulls objects and enemies towards itself, dealing continuous Anemo damage. The Elemental Absorption effect can occur here as well. One major drawback of the Burst is that it pulls enemies away from you. So although it Crowd Controls them, at the same time it is making it difficult for you to deal significant damage.
Best Party Members for Anemo Traveler Support Build in Genshin Impact
Thanks to its Swirl Elemental Reaction and Crowd Control capabilities, the Anemo Traveler can be a decent support for every party. You can combine it with Pyro based characters like Hu Tao and Yanfei, Electro based characters like Fischl or Cryo based characters like Eula and have great results.
