Hyperion’s Dirge Quest

Overview
Hyperion’s Dirge is a World Quest in Enkanomiya, Inazuma. The quest is also required to complete another World quest in the area, The Phaethons’ Syrtos. Aberaku, a shade of Tokoyo, will ask you to retrieve three offerings and return them to rest his soul.
Before you can accept the quest however, you must first advance the main story line of Enkanomiya and reach Dainichi Mikoshi, at the center of the map. To enter Enkanomiya you must first complete the “The Moon-Bathed Deep” Quest in Watatsumi Island and accept the “The Still Water’s Flow” Quest from Tsuyuko.
Reaching Dainichi Mikoshi and unlocking the ability to manually change the day/night cycle is vital for this quest but also many more in the area. Switching to Evernight(Night) will reveal the Shades of Tokoyo, which are basically ghosts that offer you quests.
When Evernight is active you can find Aberaku and accept his quest. Completing this Quest will also unlock the “Light and Dark, Dusk and Dawn” Achievement.
Start Quest
To begin the quest, first find Aberaku in a room under the Dainichi Mikoshi‘s teleport waypoint. While in Evernight, light up the two fire torches to reveal an opening on the wall.
Enter inside and talk to Aberaku. He will ask you to retrieve three offerings and return them to the room.
You can find the offerings by completing combat trials around Enkanomiya.
Trials
There are three trial areas around Enkanomiya, one on each of the three zones around Dainichi Mikoshi. Each Trial represents and completes a separate quest. The three sub quests you must complete are:
- Narrow Inquiry
- Temple Inquiry
- Serpent’s Head Inquiry
While in Evernight, visit the three areas and unlock the sigils with keys you can find around Enkanomiya.
Once all sigils are unlocked, Aberaku will appear. Talk to him to begin the trial. Three enemies will appear in every trial and you have to defeat them before the time runs out. Once defeated, a Precious Chest will spawn. Loot it to get rewards and talk to Aberaku again to retrieve the offerings and complete the sub quests.
Complete the Quest
Once you have retrieved all three offerings return to Aberaku under Dainichi Mikoshi. Place them on the altars and a new area on the top of Dainichi Mikoshi will appear. Use the gate to go there. Once you reach the new area you will also unlock the “Light and Dark, Dusk and Dawn” Achievement.
Talk to Aberaku to complete the Quest and receive the Divine Bridle item. You can now use the Divine Bridle to complete the The Phaethons’ Syrtos World Quest as well.
