Genshin Impact Lost Riches

Lost Riches is the first of several new events that are coming to Genshin Impact in January. The event will begin on January 8th at 10:00 and continue until January 18th at 4:00. The Event’s Shop will be live from the start of the event until January 22nd.

Lost Riches is basically a treasure hunting event that introduces a new type of Seelie-Gadget, the Treasure-Seeking Seelie, which is also its unique reward. To participate in the event a player must have reached Adventure Rank 20 and have completed Prologue Act I “The Outlander Who Caught the Wind.”

Lost Riches Event

To begin the Event you must travel to Stone Gate and talk to Ulman NPC. Ulman will give you a Treasure Book along with a special gadget, the Treasure-Seeking Seelie. Hints found in the Book will guide you to specific locations to search for Iron Coins.

Every day two Treasure areas will become available for players and the total number of Treasure locations will be 14. To proceed to an area you must find all iron coins available in the previous one. This can be done with the help of the Treasure-Seeking Seelie.

You can equip the Treasure-seeking Seelie gadget and activate it when you get to the Treasure location. Every location is marked on the map with a yellow circle. While exploring the area, the seelie will begin to shine when you are getting closer to Iron Coins.

Dig the appropriate spots to get them along with some other rewards.

After clearing specific areas you will also get special treasure clues. The clues will guide you to new areas and can reward you with primogems, mora and more.

During the event, players can also complete co-op challenges. Harder challenges that offer better rewards but require assistance from others. You can complete up to 3 co-op challenge rewards in other player worlds but you can choose to remain in your world while in co-op mode, if you wish.

Event Rewards

You can exchange the Iron Coins in the Event’s Shop for Primogems, Upgrading Materials, Mora and one of the event’s unique gadgets:

  • Mini Seelie: Dayflower
  • Mini Seelie: Rose
  • Mini Seelie: Curcuma

You can only get one of the mini-seelie gadgets and after you complete all treasure areas. These gadgets will work as permanent partners following you around.
