Genshin Impact 2.6 Features

Overview
The 2.6 version of Genshin Impact brings a brand new character to the game and the area of The Chasm! Travelers can explore The Chasm and uncover new secrets as soon as the update goes live on March 30th 2022!
A new festival will also take place in Inazuma, giving travelers the opportunity to discuss with several in-game characters. Other new Genshin Impact 2.6 features include a new domain, two new Artifact Sets and several events!
Kamisato Ayato & Reruns
Kamisato Ayato is the new character of Genshin Impact 2.6! A 5-Star, Hydro user that is wielding a Sword as his weapon. Ayato’s banner will become available when the new version goes live along with a Venti rerun banner!
During Phase 2, that starts on April 19th 2022, Ayaka will also return for her first rerun!
Weapon & Artifacts
Heran Geppaku Futsu is a brand new Sword coming to the game in the new version! This Sword will probably be a great fit for Ayato! Two new Artifact Sets will also be available for farming in the new Domain you can find in The Chasm.
The new Artifact Sets are the Vermillion Hereafter and the Echoes of an Offering.
Vermillion Hereafter boosts ATK by 18% and after using an Elemental Burst, this character will gain the Nascent Light effect, increasing their ATK by 8% for 16s. When the character’s HP decreases, their ATK will further increase by 10%. This increase can occur this way a maximum of 4 times. This effect can be triggered once every 0.8s. Nascent Light will be dispelled when the character leaves the field. If an Elemental Burst is used again during the duration of Nascent Light, the original Nascent Light will be dispelled.
Echoes of an Offering also boosts ATK by 18% and when Normal Attacks hit opponents, there is a 36% chance that it will trigger Valley Rite, which will increase Normal Attack DMG by 70% of ATK. This effect will be dispelled 0.05s after a Normal Attack deals DMG. If a Normal Attack fails to trigger Valley Rite, the odds of it triggering the next time will increase by 20%. This trigger can occur once every 0.2s.
The Chasm
The Chasm is the new area Travelers can explore in version 2.6! A zone with several underground levels that you need the assistance of a special gadget to explore. This gadget is called Lumenstone Adjuvant and will allow you to defeat enemies but also progress the story.
Events
During this version, the Irodori Festival will be held around Inazuma! The main event of the version is Hues of the Violent Garden which includes four separate phases and will reward you with a free Xingqiu!
Other events include the new Spices from the West, Vibro-Crystal Research and Outside the Canvas, Inside the Lens. In version 2.6 Ley Line Overflow and Theater Mechanicus will see a rerun!
More Changes
A few more changes include a better Tutorial Interface and an easier way to change party members on Mobile.
