Overview
Genshin Impact 2.3 is right around the corner with several new features! The 2.3 version might not add a new area to the game but will introduce a couple new characters, weapons, artifacts and enemies!
Genshin Impact 2.3 is expected to be released on November 24th and will take players back to the area of Dragonspine for its main Event – Story line “Shadows amidst Snowstorms“.
These are the Genshin Impact 2.3 Features, that we will be able to enjoy soon!
Characters
Arataki Itto and Gorou are the two new characters in version 2.3!
Arataki Itto is a strong Claymore wielding, Geo user that can take an Oni King form with its Elemental Burst. While in this form damage is converted into Geo.
Gorou on the other hand is a Geo based support character that is wielding a Bow. Gorou offers buffs to your group and is more effective the more Geo characters you have in your party.
Albedo and Eula will also see a rerun with their banners running simultaneously. This is a special rerun that will happen occasionally when limited characters fit gameplay content.
The two banners will share Pitty/Pull counts. So if you are unable to get a 5-Star character after 50 wishes on Albedo‘s banner for example and switch to Eula‘s banner, then you will get a 5-Star character there within a maximum of 40 wishes!
Two new Hangout series will become available as well in 2.3 version, one for Gorou and one for Beidou!
Weapon, Artifacts & Enemies
New Weapons and Artifacts will become available during the new version.
The 5-Star Claymore, Redhorn Stonethresher will be obtainable through the wish system while two new Artifact Sets will be obtainable from a new Domain on Seirai Island, Inazuma.
The two new Artifact Sets are called, Husk of Opulent Dreams and Ocean-Hued Clam.
The Golden Wolflord is a brand new powerful Boss, found on the Island of Tsurumi. The king of rifthounds basically, that can apply stacks of corrosion!
Events
Like every other new version, 2.3 will bring various new but also old events to the game!
Shadows amidst Snowstorms is the main event of the new version that will give players the opportunity to earn a new 4-Star Weapon! The Cinnabar Spindle Sword, as well as its refining materials.
Bantam Sango Case Files: The Warrior Dog is another new event in the new version while Energy Amplifier Fruition, Misty Dungeon: Realm of Light and Marvelous Merchandise will bring back beloved events or their upgraded version!
Finally with Genshin Impact 2.3, players can place Paimon in their Serenitea Pot and interact with her!
