Genshin Impact 1.3 News

The latest Developers Discussion has revealed some great news for mobile players but also some very good changes to the Resin system. With the release of the 1.3 Update players will be able to earn more Fragile Resin but also avoid using their Original Resin for Events.

Genshin Impact 1.3 Changes

To be more precise, with the Release of the 1.3 Update, Events that do not require clearing Ley Line Outcrops or Domains, will not consume Original Resin. Most bigger Events in the future will also not consume Original Resin. This will allow players to save their Resin and use it for their daily farming routine.

Other changes regarding Resin include the addition of more Fragile Resin as rewards from the Battle Pass. With the 1.3 update the Sojourner’s Battle Pass and Gnostic Hymn will reward 1 Fragile Resin per 10 levels, starting from level 5. This will replace the Mystic Enhancement Ores but will not change the total amount that you can gain from the Battle Pass.

Mobile Platforms are also getting a pre-installation feature, helping with pre-downloading the game before an update’s release. Players will have to use the App Store or Google Play Store to download the installation package.

A quality of life change comes to Weapons enhancement. It will be possible to hold down the button to add more materials, making the process somewhat more easier. A materials conversion function is also coming with the next 1.3 update. More info on exactly how this will work will be released at a later date though.

Controllers on iOS Devices! Operating systems upgraded to iOS 14 or higher will support the Xbox Wireless Controller (Bluetooth Version), Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2, PlayStation DualShock 4 Wireless Controller, and iOS-specialized Bluetooth controllers (partial support)!

The developers also cover some gameplay related issues, like Fatui Anemoboxer Vanguard not countering Geo anymore. This is happening because of the way Anemo was designed to work. Swirl interacts mostly with Hydro, Pyro, Cryo and Electro.

These are the most important news and changes for the 1.3 version at the moment. More of course are coming at a later date.
