Dimming Mushroom’s Call for Help Quest

Overview
Dimming Mushroom’s Call for Help is a World Quest you can get in the Underground part of The Chasm. To find the appropriate NPC you will have to advance the area’s main story line “The Chasm Delvers” and have the “Wherefore Did the Spiritstone Descend?” World Quest active.
On your way to find Zhiqiong, you will encounter Xamaran, a giant Mushroom and begin the Dimming Mushroom’s Call for Help Quest. Completing this quest also unlocks the “The Mushroom That Asks Too Much” Achievement.
Xamaran
When you encounter Xamaran, it will ask you to share some of your Lumenstone Adjuvant power with it. Interact with it to recharge it. After that, Xamaran will ask you to clear the foul energy nearby.
Head to the Dark Mud around it and clear it by using your Lumenstone Adjuvant again. Your next task is to help Xamaran’s kin, which is quite simple as well.
Go to the designated points on the map and recharge the five smaller mushrooms there.
Source of Foul Energy
Return to Xamaran to receive your next and final task. It will give you a Blessings of Wisdom item and ask you to use it on the Source of the Foul Energy to stop it. This is the trickiest part of the quest since you have to follow the flow of water and find the Source by yourself.
Thankfully is not that far away. From Xamaran’s location, head North following the underground river. The Source is guarded by three Abyss Mages but you do not have to fight them. Use the Blessings of Wisdom on the Source and it will disappear along with the mages. A mushroom will grow and a Precious Chest will spawn when you do that.
Return to Xamaran to complete the quest and unlock the “The Mushroom That Asks Too Much” Achievement.
