Diablo Immortal
Diablo Immortal is starting today(December 18th, 2020) a limited open technical Alpha to test server stability and client performance. In the test can participate however only a limited number of Android users from Australia that have already pre-registered on the Google Play Store.
The test will run for a couple Weeks and players will be able to check four of the six classes the game will have on release. The available classes during the test are Barbarian, Monk, Wizard and Demon Hunter.
Crusader and Necromancer are still undergoing iteration so they are not ready for testing, according to the developers. The team behind Diablo Immortal have also mentioned that they are planning to add more classes in the future.
Diablo Immortal takes place between the events of Diablo II: Lord of Destruction and Diablo III and is going to be a Free-to-Play title. The team behind the game has also promised that all future content will be free as well including classes, zones and additional story. Micro-transactions will exist but they “will never stand in the way of progression or enjoying the game”.
