How many Classes are in Diablo Immortal?
In total there are six classes in Diablo Immortal. These Classes will be available on Mobile and PC Open Beta release on June 2nd:
- Barbarian
- Crusader
- Demon Hunter
- Monk
- Necromancer
- Wizard
Each class has its own unique skills and gameplay! Depending on your favorite play style, one of them is going to suit you better than the other. But do not worry if you have picked wrong, you can always switch your character’s class later!

Barbarian
You cannot have a Diablo game without the Barbarian! A strong melee focused class with massive damage that can take down enemies fast! Barbarian is your brawler type, melee warrior in Diablo.
Crusader
The Crusader is a defensive class carrying a shield, that reminds a lot the Paladin! Despite its defensive nature, Crusader can dish out quite the damage and defeat several enemies at the same time.
Demon Hunter
Your ranged class for hit and run tactics. Demon Hunter is a fragile, hard hitting ranged class that will favor kiting strategies.
Monk
Unarmed powerful warrior that can protect allies and defeat enemies. The Monk has great mobility on the field which makes him a great class for fast paced action!

Necromancer
Master of death, a summoner class! Necromancer can summon skeletons to assist in fight and in general deal with enemies while he assists with spells! Necromancer remains a fascinating Diablo Class!
Wizard
Your familiar Mage that fights from distance. Wizard is firing elemental damage to his enemies and can be a powerful class if you manage to stay away!
Future Classes
The above six classes will be available when the game releases this June. But probably will not be the only ones coming to the game. There are a few more classes in other Diablo games that we might see sometime in the future.
These include the Paladin, Sorceress, Druid, Assassin, Witch Doctor and Amazon! Crusader is similar to Paladin and Wizard to Sorceress though. So we might not see those two. But all the other four are unique classes that could enrich gameplay!
Can you change Class in Diablo Immortal?
Yes, you can! According to this development update, players can change the Class of their character and try another one. The purpose of this feature is to allow players to experience everything the game has to offer, without sacrificing time from leveling up their main character. Although creating alts is possible, you can simply switch your class and continue leveling up with the same character.
When you change class, you retain your Paragon levels progress while you receive a new set of equipped items that fits your new class. You can also transfer all of your item progress and gems. None of the old items or stash will be lost, and progress on Horadric Vessels and the Helliquary will remain.
This makes trying new classes and play styles much, much easier!
PC Open Beta Progress
If you are waiting for the PC open beta release, there is one more reason to be excited for! When the game leaves open beta, all your progress and purchases will be maintained!
So feel free to start playing Diablo Immortal on PC, on June 2nd without any fear of losing your progression!
