How to Get & Level up

There are a few ways you can get Artifact Sets in the game. Some drop from normal enemies around Teyvat but the most valuable and good Sets, require you to farm Domains or kill Elite/Special Bosses.

Every Set has its own rarity and the rarer they are, the harder it is to get and level them up.

Most Artifact Sets come with 2-piece and 4-piece Bonuses for the wearer. Depending on your goals, you can wear 2 pieces from a Set and combine it with another one or wear 4 pieces and get its full bonuses.

To level up an Artifact, you have to consume other artifacts. Because of this, farming Artifacts in Genshin Impact is going to be a frequent activity of your Daily Routine. At least until you have all your favorites sets at their maximum level. Their maximum level varies, depending on their rarity, from level 4 up to level 20.

Every Artifact has a main Stat and a few sub-stats. These Stats is what makes them important for a character and will help you create strong Builds, based on Attack, Health, Elemental Mastery or something else. When you level up an Artifact, its Stats level up as well, making it stronger.

Location: Drops from Elite & Weekly Bosses

2-piece Bonus: ATK +18%

4-piece Bonus: If the wielder of this artifact set uses a Sword, Claymore or Polearm, increases their Normal Attack DMG by 35%.

A very strong and flexible Artifact Set. You can use Gladiator’s Finale alone to boost your damage if you character is a Sword, Claymore or Polearm user. Or you can use 2 pieces and combine it with something else to gain additional benefits.

Bloodstained Chivalry

Rarity: 5

Location: Clear Pool and Mountain Cavern Domain

2-piece Bonus: Physical DMG +25%

4-piece Bonus: After defeating an opponent, increases Charged Attack DMG by 50%, and reduces its Stamina cost to 0 for 10s.

Great Set to boost Physical Damage. Best to combine with Gladiator’s Finale to get the extra Attack as well.

Pale Flame

Rarity: 5

Location: Ridge Watch Domain

2-piece Bonus: Physical DMG +25%

4-piece Bonus: When an Elemental Skill hits an opponent ATK is increased by 9% for 7s. This effect stacks up to 2-times and can be triggered once every 0.3s. Once 2 stacks are reached, the 2-set effect is increased by 100%.

Another great Set to to boost Physical Damage. Can use it as a full Set or combine it with other DPS Sets.

Berserker

Rarity: 4

Location: Drops from chests and Bosses

2-piece Bonus: CRIT Rate +12%

4-piece Bonus: When HP is below 70%, CRIT Rate increases by an additional 24%.

Good and easy to get Set that can boost Critical Rate.

Brave Heart

Rarity: 4

Location: Domain of Guyun, Hidden Palace of Guizang Formula

2-piece Bonus: ATK +18%

4-piece Bonus: Increases DMG by 30% against enemies with more than 50% HP.

A good alternative to Gladiator’s Finale that can also boost your Attack.

4-piece Bonus: Using an Elemental Skill or Burst increases healing received by all party members by 20% for 10s.

The only pure Healing Artifact Set in Genshin Impact. Must have for your dedicated Healer character.

Noblesse Oblige

Rarity: 5

Location: Clear Pool and Mountain Cavern Domain

2-piece Bonus: Elemental Burst DMG +20%

4-piece Bonus: Using an Elemental Burst increase all party members’ ATK by 20% for 12s. This effect cannot stack.

One of the best support Sets thanks to its 4-piece bonus. Because of the boost to Elemental Burst Damage with its 2 piece bonus, you can use this set with DPS characters as well. Especially if you are creating an Elemental Damage Build.

Wanderer’s Troupe

Rarity: 5

Location: Drops from Elite & Weekly Bosses

2-piece Bonus: Elemental Mastery +80

4-piece Bonus: Increases Charged Attack DMG by 35% if the character uses a Catalyst or Bow.

Great to combine with another set thanks to its boost to Elemental Mastery. You can also use it with Bow or Catalyst characters if you are planning to create a Charged Attack Build.

Rarity: 4

Location: Drops from Elite & Weekly Bosses

2-piece Bonus: Increases Elemental Mastery by 80.

4-piece Bonus: After using Elemental Skill, increases all party members’ Elemental Mastery by 120 for 8s.

Another good option to boost Elemental Mastery for the entire group.

Retracing Bolide

Rarity: 5

Location: Domain of Guyun

2-piece Bonus: Increases Shield Strength by 35%.

4-piece Bonus: While protected by a shield, gain an additional 40% Normal and Charged Attack DMG.

Nice option to boost defense and Attack at the same time.

Elemental Damage Artifacts

These Sets will boost the Damage of a specific Element and should be used with the appropriate characters.
